Our Weekend

We had a great weekend. BJ had Thursday off so we decided we would head out a day early and go to WV to see his family. We did well in driving and stopped 3 times. Lucie did so much better this time. I also found a little trick and fed her while she was still in her carseat. A little dangerous for me, but she was happy. We went to the hospital to surprise Maw Maw, but she surprised us by going home early!! On the 4th we had a great day and I let BJ so whatever he wanted. It was his birthday after all. So He went to see Hancock with his Dad and Shannon. Maw Maw and I took Max and Lucie to Build-A-Bear. They each made a bear. Max's is a panda named HomeRun. He picked out baseball clothes for it. I tried others, but he wanted Baseball. Lucie made a velvet bear and we named her Kisses, because as soon as it was stuffed it went into her mouth!!! We also helped mow Chad and Amber's yard that morning. Maw Maw let Max ride on the law mower!!

That night we had a bar-b-que and Bj played cards with his family. The next day we just did nothing. BJ and his family did go to the hospital to visit Granny who has been there for a while now and had 3 strokes!!! Bj hasn't had a chance to see her in a few years. We figured out that I have gone out there the last 2 times with out him. So he got to say his goodbyes.

Sunday we drove home. To try to miss some of the traffic we decided to be adventurous and got on a different route. We found a cool park by a river with a waterfall!! We got our and let Max run around. With our handy gorilla-pod we were able to take a family picture.

Today we made the drive to Columbia for Lucie's 6 month appointment. She is growing up so fast. She weighs 18lbs and 7oz. She is 26 1/2 inches tall!! After that we stopped by to see our good friends Quincy, Sarah, and Jonas. He is growing fast too. Lucie gave him tons of kisses, and eventually he liked it and was leaning in for more!! It was fun to see them together. Hopefully we will be able let them grow up together. So now we are home and back to our daily stuff. We need to find out where it is!!!
