Late Night

So here it is 10 minutes til 10. Everyone is asleep and I am here blogging. I really should go to bed. Lucie is in her own crib although I am sure at some point tonight she will be in bed with me. I just love having her in there. She is growing up so fast. She laughs at BJ all the time. She will smile at Max. Oh how I love she smiles at me. She is such a joy to have. Although she is very much a princess, I wouldn't expect anything less. Max is so much fun he tells me everything he wants when he wants it. He is starting to get really good with his words. Pretty soon we should be able to understand no problem. When we were in Utah my brother turned on the tv and a tele-evangelist was on "healing" people. My brother turned to Max and said "I heal you" then Max copied. So on the way home from church this past week we decided to see how much he copy. It was so funny he said, "I heal you", "I say-a", "hallelujah", "A-Men", and "I believe". He is so fun to have around. I everyday to just as much fun as I can with him. We dance funny in the living room and get down. He is such a character. Lately he has had fun with BJ sprucing up the house. We have a lot of work to do around here. Hopefully it will all be down in a couple weeks. We are going to be doing some little traveling to the eastern pan handle of WV. It is so pretty there!! Ok I guess I better go and get some kind of sleep before little Lucie decides she needs me. Thanks for listening...oh wait here is a picture of the princess.

Max at 2( really long)

I started this a long time ago and am now finished with it so here ya go!!

Max is growing into such a great little boy!! We had his 2 year appointment a month ago. He weighs 27lbs. 11oz. (50%), 35 inches tall(75%), 49 1/2cm head(75%)!!! He has 2 more feet to go before he is as tall as me!!! What is up that!! He is so sweet. He is so fun to have around, he makes us laugh all the time. He can pretty much tell us what he wants. He can get into the fridge and get whatever he wants out of it. We usually stop him though. The Wii oh man that is a struggle for me. He loves it so much. We will drive past Best Buy and he will start saying Wii. He knows there is one in there!! He also can recognize the letters!! I usually tell him that he can not play it until Daddy comes home. He can get a little frustrated in some of the games, especially bowling. To save me from that he can't play until Daddy is home. He loves his little sister. He calls her Baby. Recently there was a cute thing he did. When we were getting on the plane to go to Utah we checked both carseats. He saw that his little sister's seat was put on the conveyer belt and started freaking out and yelling for Baby. He thought she was still in there. He didn't settle down until I showed him she was still with us. He gets a little protective when other are around her or holding her. He likes to play with her. I am usually making her play with him but he thinks it is fun. While in Utah he got a real putter. He really likes Golf. I think if he likes it as much as does in a year from now we are going to put him lessons. Look out Tiger, Max is on his way!!! He got a baseball shirt from one of my cousins for his birthday recently and LOVES it. He wanted wear it when he got it and then got mad when he had to take it off for bed. Today he actually attempted to put it on himself because I wouldn't. It was dirty!! He loves playing outside, especially with other kids. I can't wait until we have a big backyard with huge playset for him to climb on and play on. We may have to have a basketball court for him too. He loves to throw a tantrum when he doesn't get what he wants. Oh the screaming....He also uses the word please very well when he really wants something like cake, candy or chocolate.

We are Back!!

We are back and had a good trip. In the beginning there were a few bumps but we got over them and it ended really nice. Max did ok on the way ok. A typical two year old that wanted to play and was very excited to be on the plann-a. We blasted off to Utah, and arrived safe. I was able to get all our stuff in one suitcase!!!! So I checked the one suitcase and both carseats. I checked the stroller at the gate. The security people were very helpful this time and things went very smoothly. Lots of people wanted to help me with my luggage but we just can't do that anymore. On the way out to Utah I managed to get a whole row to myself!!!! The moved the very lucky man to a different spot so my child didn't bother him at all. We took lots of family pictures and went to the Zoo. We played with cousins and visited our new little friend "E". His big sister was napping at her Grandma's house so we missed her, but it was nice to see Kelly and little E. We had a good time hanging out with Uncle RJ and helping get over a little cabin fever. Max really enjoyed playing with his Uncles and Grandpa. My Mom came up from Nevada and I was able to introduce Lucie to her Aunt and Uncle "hordan" that is how Max says his name. We also met my Dad's Girlfriend Rosie. She is wonderful!! She fits right in with us. It was not awkward at all. She was great with the kids and was really nice. I like her. I like her most out of all the girls my Dad has dated. I hope things work out for them. Oh yeah Max also got a real putter, not the plastic kind. So he was playing that a lot and he also would use it as a baseball bat. Lucie now talks a lot and is rolling onto her side. Max has picked up some new words ans sentences. Bubba, golk(golf), I want it, I heal you, Hordan( Jordan), Jad-E(Jade),Plann-a(plane), Bolin(bowling). There are a few more I will have to remember. Oh yeah Max went to a nursery class that only had 5 kids in it. He made number 6!!! Could you imagine a nursery that small?? And I think they blend junior and senior primary together. They were not having anything going on in the primary room for the first half of primary. That made me think that they must have a REALLY small primary. It was an older ward, but wow how would that be. Oh and my kid was the loudest in sacrament. If he was there you would be able to actually be able to hear the meeting. That was treat well i didn't actually get to listen. I was wrestling my two year the whole time. Max has just gotten so active and won't pose for pictures anymore. So here are the shots I do have. I think this is all about our trip, if I think of more I will add it.

Another Family Stroll

We have really been enjoying the beautiful weather. We loving taking the kids out on walks and they love being outside. We went on a different part of the path we went on last time. We found a nice little place to let Max get in the water. He loved that!!! So here are some pictures of the stroll. Ans there is also one here of Lucie blowing bubbles it is her new past time. She also has really taken to her fingers lately. I caught her asleep with two of her fingers still in her mouth!!!

A BIG Update

Man it has been a while. So last Saturday we had a little party for Max. I think he had a great time. We needed a nap so the last 30 minutes he was in bed. He got some great presents. Logan gave him a sticker activity book. Max loves stickers. We are going to put that in the bag for the plane for sure!!! Charolette gave him a Fragle Rock movie. He likes that and Daddy doesn't mind it either!!! William gave him a new Buzz swim outfit. Josh gave him ABC magnets for the fridge. He likes that too. Thanks everyone for the great gifts. Sunday Lucie wore one of her fancy dresses so there is a picture of that. Also Lucie is sitting up in the bumbo seat!! We noticed that she was lifting her head off the pillows when we laid her in the bed, so I thought I would see if she could sit in it. Sure enough that little girl can!!! Man she is growing up too fast. I thought I had a baby, not any more!! Onto today... Today was Max's 2nd birthday!!! I can't believe it has been two years already. He is such a great fun kid to have. He talks all the time although we do not fully understand him all the time. So BJ stayed and I thought we should take him out for Birthday Breakfast. We went to Bob Evans. We came home and attempted to put him down for a nap. He new it was a special day though and would not have it so he played all through naptime and Daddy got him out early. We let him open his present. He loves it. We got him v-tech kidzoom digital camera. He has been playing with mine a lot lately so we thought he would enjoy one of his own. He loves it he would take a picture and then look at it and laugh. We have lots pictures of the floor. I will do a post of all his pictures later.Bj made Max a sponge bob square pants cake and I made him spaghetti his favorite. I will do a special Max post later.Enjoy what we have.
