This past week we have had some fun. On Tuesday BJ took off work to go with us on a field trip with Max. We went to Old McDonald's Farm. We had a great time and it was fun watching Max interact with his school friends. We went through the big maze and wished they would have given us a map.

We also did the traditional carving of the pumpkins. This year we did something simple because we figured the kids would not give us a lot of time to do anything big.

We also celebrated my birthday last weekend:) Max and Daddy made the cake. Max said that he poured the water and the oil, and cracked the eggs. I asked if he turned on the mixer and he said yes. So apparently Max made the cake with Daddy's supervision.

Max has recently really taken to puzzles, he pretty much put together a 24 piece puzzle by himself!! It is fun sitting down and doing things with him.

Here are some random pictures of Lucie. She has learned how to make kissy lips. She also loves to color, she will obly use makers and plain paper though. She has recently taken to Clues Clues, and will draw pictures in her notebook like Steve. She is a silly girl.

On Friday we went to the local Salvation Army and delivered the check that the preschool earned with its yard sale/bake sale. Max and I helped make cookies for the bake sale and I even put in some time at the yard sale. They earned 500 dollars!!! We are going to go back and help hand out the things the people will get for Christmas this year. I love being able to instill this value of service and charity in Max with the help of his school. They are now getting ready to make blankets for kids also.
Onto Saturday and everything you all are waiting for. We went to our 3D ultrasound and the Trunk-or-Treat. Max had a blast at the Trunk-or-Treat and has not let his bucket of candy leave his side. Max told us what we were going to be this year and we had no problem making his wish. I think we the only whole family dressed up but we had fun.

We also did the 3D ultrasound which was a great experience for us. Max like the movie of our baby on the wall. We found out that we are having a little girl. Max and I were a little bummed at first, but we are quickly moving on and ready for another little girl in the house. I think I am more ok with it thinking that Max is going to be my little man. He is so fun and such a sweet kid. I know he will do great with another little sister. Lucie on the other hand:) She will be great while she is a baby and will be my little helper for sure, but when she has to learn to share her babies and then clothes and make-up we may have some issues. I am sure it will be fine, like I always say the Lord will only give me what I can handle and apparently I can handle two girls. I guess He has more confidence in me than I do.

There she is...There is thigh on the top left. then the another thigh in the blob on the bottome. so if you look in between you will see three lines...We looked 3-4 times and everytime I saw it. There is definitely no boy parts. The lady kept saying I did my research, the truth is I have a little girl and I remember what I saw with her. In the 3D ones, Ella has her arm in front of her face, the whole time!! I am ok with that I didn't want to see what she completely looks like anyways, leave some kind of surprise to look forward to. the umbilical cord was up by her face too. Those are the best though.
